1️⃣ The origin of CBG oil 🇫🇷: a guarantee of safety and transparency
In the world of hemp, the geographical origin of the oil is far from being a mere detail. On the contrary, it's the first trust indicator you should check before buying.
Why? Because the regulations surrounding cannabinoid-based products are still vague and heterogeneous in Europe, not to mention the rest of the world. And this legal variability has direct consequences on what your CBG oil actually contains.
In France, for example, the authorized THC limit is set at 0.3%. But in other countries, such as Switzerland, this threshold can be as high as 1%.

CBG isolate

👉 CBG distillate
Conversely, a distillate is a more complete extract, containing mostly CBG, but also other cannabinoids in varying quantities, as well as natural terpenes.
Why is this interesting? Because these molecules act synergistically in the body: this is known as the entourage effect. Several studies tend to show that this natural combination reinforces the overall efficacy of the product.
A distillate-based CBG oil will therefore often be more effective, and particularly useful for those seeking an overall effect on their endocannabinoid system and therefore their body.
3️⃣ Which carrier oil for your CBG oil?
First of all, CBG oil isn't like olive oil that's been pressed. As we said, it's a CBG extract (isolate or distillate) diluted in a carrier oil.
The choice of carrier oil is not insignificant: it's the one that transports CBG through the body, and influences its bioavailability - i.e. your body's ability to absorb it efficiently.
The main oils used :

Olive, jojoba and sunflower oils: rarer, they are sometimes used for their sensory or nutritional profile, but their bioavailability is often inferior.
How to choose?
It all depends on your expectations:
If you're looking for fast, discreet absorption: MCT is a good choice.
