1. What is CBD oil?

A CBD oil is a vegetable oil to which one or more molecules extracted from hemp flowers are added. At Nobilis, CBD oils are hemp oils (made from the cold-pressed seeds of the plant) to which we add an extract (crude for our Full Spectrum products or distillate for our Broad Spectrum oils) containing cannabinoids (CBD, CBN, CBG, etc.), terpenes (odor and taste molecules) and flavonoids.

2. Are Nobilis-Product oils organic?

Our CBD oils are made from organic hemp oil, and the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are extracted from organically grown flowers. We also use a natural, organic solvent (bioethanol) for the flower extraction process.

In short, everything in Nobilis-Product oils is organic !

3. Are Nobilis-Product oils 100% made in France?

Yes, our oils are entirely French. The flowers we use are grown in northern France, the hemp oil is produced by a French farmer, and our laboratory is located in the Doubs region.

4. How can I check the composition of your CBD oils?

You can request the results of compositional analyses, which are carried out by an independent laboratory. This document will tell you the concentration of CBD and other cannabinoids (including THC content below 0.3%). You can also verify the absence of any harmful residues.

5. Why take CBD oil?

CBD oil offers a simple way to enjoy all the potential benefits of the active molecules contained in hemp flowers.

The most common uses include

• Reducing stress and anxiety;
• Improved sleep quality;
• Relief of muscle, joint and bone pain;
• General rebalancing of the body.

6. How do I take CBD oil?

The best way to take CBD oil is sublingually: place a few drops under the tongue before swallowing. This ensures optimum bioavailability, as the cannabinoids are not broken down by the liver.

However, you can also mix a few drops into your moisturizing cream, to use as a massage. Or even mix it into your dishes/drinks. However, as we've said, the liver degrades a significant proportion of your oil's active molecules.

7. What does CBD oil taste like?

It all depends on the composition of the oil. Nobilis oils are made from hemp oil, so they have a slightly nutty taste. On the other hand, our Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum oils contain hemp terpenes, which give them a slightly pungent, herbaceous note.

8. Are there any contraindications?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is considered safe for health according to the WHO (sources). However, as a precautionary measure, its consumption is not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women, minors or people undergoing treatment.

If in doubt, consult a doctor.

9. Can CBD cause side effects?

Yes, CBD may cause side effects such as headaches, digestive disorders and mild drowsiness. Most studies on the safety of CBD recommend not exceeding a daily dose of 1500 mg.

10. Does CBD oil cause psychotropic effects?

No, CBD oil has no psychotropic effects, as it contains little or no THC. Indeed, only full spectrum oils contain THC, but they are dosed at less than 0.3%, which is insufficient to alter the state of consciousness.

11. Is there THC in CBD oil?

Yes, in so-called "full spectrum" oils. However, it is dosed at less than 0.3%, which is insufficient to cause hallucinations.

Broad spectrum oils do not contain any.

12. What dose of CBD should I take?

The dosage of CBD oil depends on each individual. It depends on weight, age, symptom intensity and state of health, as well as affinity with hemp's cannabinoid molecules.

To determine your ideal dosage, we recommend starting with a low dose - around 3 drops a day - of a low-dose oil (between 10 and 20%). Increase the number of drops gradually, every 7 days or so, until you achieve the desired effects.

13. How do I choose the right CBD concentration for my oil?

If you're starting out with CBD, then it's advisable to buy a low-dose oil, i.e. 10%, or even 20% if you weigh more than 70 kg. This allows you to start with a low dose until you find the ideal dosage.

However, if your symptoms (pain, inflammation, stress) are particularly intense (almost incapacitating), we recommend starting with an oil containing more than 20%.

14. How to calculate the number of drops?

Here's how to determine how many drops of CBD oil to take in a day:

1. Determine the concentration of CBD oil. For example, a 10 ml bottle of 10% CBD oil contains 1000 mg of CBD.
2. Now determine the quantity of CBD/drop. It's estimated that a 10 ml bottle contains around 200 drops. So one drop contains around 5 mg of CBD.
3. 👉 If you're just starting out with CBD, we recommend between 15 and 25 mg of CBD/day depending on your weight. This corresponds to 3 to 5 drops/day;
4. If your symptoms are intense, then we recommend starting with 25 to 50 mg, again depending on your weight. This corresponds to between 5 and 10 drops/day.

In both cases, you can increase the dose of CBD gradually, in increments of 5 to 10 mg, i.e., 1 to 2 drops more, every 7 days or so in the case of an oil containing 10% CBD.

15. What is the maximum dose of CBD that should not be exceeded?

According to some studies, CBD is considered safe for health up to 1500 mg/day, equivalent to 1 x 10 ml bottle of 15% CBD oil. Furthermore, a study on rats indicates that no side effects are observed up to 150 mg CBD per kg body mass.

16. How long does a CBD cure last?

You can take CBD for as long as you like.

17. How long does it take to feel the effects of CBD?

This depends on the individual and the type of symptom targeted. For example, a person seeking general well-being, with an overall rebalancing, should wait at least 3 to 4 weeks before experiencing noticeable, lasting effects.

On the other hand, a person wishing to combat a stress spike or intense pain may feel relief within minutes of taking the oil. That's if you've determined the ideal dosage beforehand.

Some people are more sensitive to cannabinoids than others. Some will feel the effects quickly, while others will need to be patient.

18. What time of day should I take CBD oil?

It all depends on the symptoms to be treated:

• To improve the quality of your sleep, we recommend that you take your oil in the evening, before going to bed;
• If you suffer from chronic pain, we recommend continuous dosing throughout the day, 3 times a day;
• Finally, CBD oil can be taken at any time of day, when the need arises, especially before a stressful event such as an exam, a trip or public speaking.

19. How should CBD oil be stored and for how long?

To ensure that your CBD oil retains its properties, we recommend that you keep it :

• In its original packaging to protect it from light;
• And in a cool place, even in the refrigerator in summer.

Under these conditions, you can store your oil for at least 12 months. Note that small crystals may appear over time. This does not mean that your oil has expired, but that the cannabinoids have regrouped and consolidated. To restore your oil to its normal consistency, simply warm it up a little in a bain-marie.
